Cascadia EGB Mission: To provide students and young professionals affordable  resources for integrating into the green building industry as qualified and active members  to further advance the green building movement.

Winners of the 2008 Natural Talent Design Competition announced!

The winners of the 2008 NTDC were announced April 18th at Living Future 08 in Vancouver, BC.  After spirited debate, the panel of judges awarded the first prize to eco•laboratory, earning them one free trip to Greenbuild 08 in Boston.  The judges also awarded an honorable mention to The Junction.

2007 NTDC: Building the Design

The winning design of the 2007 Cascadia Region Natural Talent Design Competition is going to be built!  Cascadia, Portland Habitat for Humanity, and Walsh Construction are teaming up with the winning EGBers to build two green affordable homes in Portland.  Learn more.

Emerging Green Builders Collaboration Seattle Series

Leading green building firms of Seattle present their work, in their own offices, to the next generation of ecological designers.  Students and young professionals are invited.

  • Provide educational events sponsored by local firms in green building
  • Facilitate green building tours for hands on educational opportunities
  • Develop a pricing structure with local chapter for EGB rates and benefits

  • Provide educational resources on green building and LEED accreditation
  • Document processes for national EGB case studies and toolkits
