Partners: Portland Planning Bureau, Orange Splot LLC
The City wants higher density. Portlanders want social housing. How can they meet?We’ll review the best courtyard housing designs from the City's recent competition. A local developer will describe how he is creating social housing projects, and we’ll discuss the emerging market for singles, families, and baby boomers seeking this type of housing. We’ll learn about efforts at the City to ease the process for developing courtyard housing.
