Habitat for Humanity of Washington State is hosting their first-ever statewide Green Building conference, Oct. 3 & 4, 2008 at the Greater Tacoma Convention and Trade Center in Tacoma, Washington with pre-conference Green tours the afternoon of Oct. 2.  

 Joe Lstiburek, with the Washington State University Extension Energy program, will kick off the Building Science track with the Advanced Framing workshop at 8:30am on October,  3, 2008.
 
There will be 25 workshops designed to help Habitat affiliate staff, volunteers, and homeowners and our colleagues in the nonprofit homeownership community understand and be able to implement Washington State’s new Evergreen Sustainable Development Standard.  

  A Habitat ReStore Networking Day is scheduled for Oct. 3 with a special one day registration.
