Michael Armstrong: Deputy Directory of the Office of Sustainable Development


Join the South Waterfront community for an evening with Michael Armstrong, the Deputy Director for the Office of Sustainable Development.  Armstrong will lead a discussion focused on climate change and how we can help to shape Portland into a community that thrives without relying on fossil fuels.  The city has had considerable success in reducing carbon emissions over the last 15 years, however there is still a long way to go. 

As the Deputy Director of the City of Portland Office of Sustainable Development, Armstrong manages programs related to climate change, energy efficiency, renewable energy, green building, and sustainable food systems.
