Curator’s Talk with John McMinn on the exhibition 41º to 66º to follow.
John McMinn graduated from McGill University and the Architectural Association School  in London, UK. He has worked in London and Paris with Peter Rice and Ove Arup International.  In 1992, he was awarded the Canada Council’s Prix de Rome. His teaching credits include  the A.A. School in London, the University of Toronto and since 1999, the University of Waterloo where he is Associate Professor of Architecture. In addition, he maintains an active building design practice and contributes to numerous journals. His curatorial projects include co-curator of Exploring Materials: The Work of Peter Rice, a R.I.B.A. Gold Medal exhibition and catalogue (1992), and co-author of the book and exhibition Yolles: A Canadian Engineering Legacy (2002).
