- Organization and make up of a Eco Village
- Organization of a Co-operative Ownership Model
- Collaborative decision making
- 15 minutes of • LEED Users “clinic”
Presentations will set the framework for an often overlooked topic of green design and facilitate both a technical and philisophical discussion on the matter.
What are the missing metrics for green certication?
The session will be followed by an open clinic for those with technical LEED questions.

Mark Porter | LEED AP, PE | Associated Engineering
Mark will share his work in designing the structure of a cordwood building for the Yarrow EcoVillage and describe the make up of this unique project.
Michael Driedger | LEED AP, B.A., DipT | Busby Perkins+Will
As a sustainable research advisor , Michael deals with technical green building issues on a day to day
basis but when he goes home, he lives in a non typical co-operatively owned building. He will explore
the notion of co-operative ownership and talk about the greenness of collaborative decision making.
