Creating a Living Building requires an intense understanding of the process by which transformative design and construction occurs—and dedicated leadership to help shepherd the project to fruition. This involves a knowledge and  application an integrated design approach, and cultivation of the leadership and facilitation skills central to orchestrating a complex, high performance project.

The intent of the Living Building Leader program is to both impart the technical expertise needed, as well as the requisite leadership and visioning skills, needed to create next-generation green buildings. The Design Process + Leadership petal aims to cultivate the interpersonal communication and strategic skills requisite to make this happen.
