Transformational Lecture Series
The Transformational Lecture Series aims to inspire all building industry professionals to embrace their role in creating a sustainable built environment now, as well as ensuring that sustainability becomes integral to all development in the future. The world’s most visionary thought leaders will share their experiences and wisdom on the topics that underpin and motivate the green building industry, including Cascadia’s Signal Issues, sustainable communities, and the power of collaboration. By reminding us why we must act boldly and helping us to imagine a world where sustainability is the baseline, these lectures promise to inspire a revolution!

Lectures in Oregon and Washington (excluding Tacoma) begin at 5:30pm; doors will open at 5:00pm.
Lectures in British Columbia and Alaska begin at 7:00pm; doors will open at 6:30pm.
Cost
Admission to all lectures is free. Donations will be accepted during registration or at the door and will enable the continuity of these and other special events.
RSVP is required for all lectures!

Wilde, Principal, Gerding Edlen DevelopmentCreating Sustainable and Inspiring Places to Work, Learn and Live Dennis Wilde is a principal at Gerding Edlen, a progressive commercial real estate development services firm. Gerding Edlen in 2007 became the first development company to aim for the Living Building level in several of its new developments. Gerding Edlen has further committed to having all of it’s projects produce more energy than they consume and consume more waste than they produce by 2012. Wilde first realized the possibilities of sustainability from a business perspective while attending a workshop on the Natural Step in 1997, the same year he joined Gerding Edlen. He has more than 20 years of experience in urban planning and design, and has been active in construction and real estate development since 1967. |
