Living Future 08- Registration Now Open!
Living FuturePaul Hawken
Living Future is Cascadia's signature event. This unconference is not about being “less bad” or “light green” – it is instead the leading edge conference for green design that focuses on deep solutions to the most daunting global issues of our time and creating pathways to a truly sustainable future. This year’s theme is Living Buildings to Living Communities – recognizing that the solutions we need are required at all scales. This “unconference” will include two and half days of exciting dialogue that will attract leading minds from across the continent and beyond. Sign up today and take advantage of our early bird registration!

Living Future 08 Keynote Speaker: Paul Hawken
How the largest social movement in history is restoring grace, justice and beauty to the
world
Paul Hawken is an environmentalist, entrepreneur, journalist, and author. Starting at age 20, he dedicated his life to sustainability and changing the relationship between business and the environment. His practice has included starting and running ecological businesses, writing and teaching about the impact of commerce on living systems. His books have been published in over 50 countries in 27 languages and have sold over 2 million copies. They include the The Ecology of Commerce, Natural Capitalism, and Blessed Unrest, published in May of 2007.
Open to the Public. Click Here to Register

Where to Stay

In order to maximize networking opportunities and to cultivate an ‘energy of collaboration’ we are urging everyone to stay at the Conference Hotel which is held at the Westin Bayshore. The Westin Bayshore, Vancouver, offers guests the best of both worlds: the activities and cultural events of Vancouver, as well as a relaxing resort experience in the heart of the conference. Enjoy views of the coastline, distant mountains, and jogging in Stanley Park right next door. Special conference rates have been negotiated! Ask for the “Cascadia Group Rate." Click Here to Reserve your Room!
