I began my involvement with sustainable buildings in 2005 while managing the Alley 24 Core & Shell mechanical team. I was learning the system while living the experience. I became involved with the Building Commissioning Association during the same time frame. The tenant improvements which followed right on the heels of the C&S were yet another learning experience. I also began attending SLUG and TLUG meeings. I have given presentations to NAIOP on the cost of green and followed up with net meetings with other Skanska organizations. I have sponsored many other new LEED AP's within the company and provided supplemental training information.
Worked within Skanska to propmote the training of new A.P. Spoke to NAIOP concerning "The Cost of Building Green" Regularly attend the SLUG and TLUG meetings. Participate in the ASC Competition in Reno for 2 years judging LEED Problem Statements. Participating in the 2030 zero enegry committee through AIA. White paper to be issued in March.
