Living Future Design Competition - Registration officially closed
The AIA Seattle Committee on the Environment, along with the Cascadia Region Green Building Council issued a challenge to all entries to build in a way that will provide all of us with a sustainable future. The Living Future Competition was open to all building owners, architects, engineers, design professionals, students and emerging green builders. Nineteen projects were submitted in two categories of practicing professionals and students/ emerging green builders. The competition prizes are intended to award teams whose entries reflect true sustainability as measured by the definition of the Living Building Challenge. The submitted projects will be used as a platform to stimulate the jury led discussion regarding the innovative approaches either pioneered or brought to a new level with the 2007 competition entries.

• Runner-Up $1,500
Students/ Emerging Green Builders
• Winner $1,000
• Runner-Up $500
Competition winners will be announced on April 27, during the Cascadia Big Bang Celebration.
