The Cascadia Chapter received the USGBC Award for Organizational Excellence at Greenbuild on November 9. Accepting the award for the Chapter from Milliken Carpet's William Gregory (left), Cascadia CEO Glen Gilbert asked everyone from Oregon, Washington and British Columbia to stand and be recognized. The Award recognizes the Chapter that demonstrates organizational excellence as defined by the USGBC's Strategic Plan.

Cascadia Board Elections
The Board is soliciting nominations from USGBC members in OR, WA and BC for the Cascadia Board of Directors. CMHC Announces Energy Efficiency Refunds
Effective immediately, the Canada Home Mortgage Corporation is offering a 10 per cent refund on its mortgage loan insurance premium for energy efficient homes. CMHC is also introducing new energy efficiency enhancements to its renovation assistance program for lower income Canadians. More info. Contact Mark McInnis at (613) 748-2134.
